Restitution
Research Restitution Film
A useful study does not end when the report is delivered.
Restitution. The starting point.
The study is delivered.
What happens next?
You commissioned a study and received a solid report, sometimes several hundred pages long. Then comes the restitution itself, and with it a simple question: what will teams actually remember?
The issue is not the quality of the work. It is that even the best report rarely stays in people’s minds.
The challenge
A study is not valuable
only because of what it reveals.
It is valuable because of what remains.
Definition
What is a
research restitution film?
A research restitution film takes over where the report stops, helping people retain what matters most.
Starting from an existing study, we identify the conclusions that truly matter and transform them into a form that is clear, memorable and immediately understandable across teams.
Where a report documents, the film makes the essential stay. It becomes a tool for leadership meetings, seminars and internal presentations, when everyone needs to leave with the same understanding.
What it is not
It is neither an animated PowerPoint,
nor a motion design summary.
This is the most common confusion, and what separates a true restitution from simple packaging. An animated PowerPoint puts slides into motion without changing what people retain from them.
A motion design summary stacks numbers, charts and icons that disappear from memory just as quickly. A corporate summary flattens the study to make it easier to present.
None of these solve the real problem, because none are concerned with what teams will actually integrate once the meeting is over.
The benchmark
A restitution is measured
by what remains the next day.
Process. How it works.
From your report
to a film,
in four steps.
We read the study in full and define with you which conclusions need to stand out.
We then propose an angle and structure that you validate before any production begins.
The film is produced in the format best suited to your context: leadership meeting, seminar or internal presentation.
We deliver a film ready to be presented internally. You remain involved at every stage, and nothing is produced before validation on the substance itself.
Uses
One main film,
with multiple ways
to extend its impact.
Present
A film designed for high stakes presentations, where attention, understanding and team alignment matter most.
Extend
The film can then be extended across internal uses such as onboarding, training, presentations or targeted internal circulation.
Reactivate
One study can create multiple opportunities to reactivate insights and prolong their impact within the organisation.
Case studies
